Adopted Ships & Units

Navy League councils are essential in providing local support of ship units, enhancing the morale of service men and women around the world. Navy League Honolulu Council has adopted the USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) and the USS Hawaii (SSN 776).

Friends of Windward Wounded Warriors 

Dedicated volunteers work together to provide a comprehensive response to the needs of recovering service members, spouses and children. While they recover from surgery, rehab, mental health treatment and more, we help by providing emergency assistance, family day events, special military activities, retreats, and dinners.

American Patriot Awards

Each year the Navy League Honolulu Council recognizes one or more “American Patriots”. Selection is based upon service to the nation and service to our community. This dinner event is our marquee fundraiser.

Sea Service Awards

Navy League Honolulu Council recognizes outstanding Hawaii-based Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guard men and women with a special event.

The BRIDGE

BRIDGE is the business networking group within the Honolulu Navy League. There were briefings throughout the year by the sea services and industry senior leadership. The Honolulu Navy League works with the sea services to offer visits to different commands, as well as interfacing to experience the day to day activities of our service members.

Aloha Welcome Academy

Supported by Navy League Honolulu Council, the Aloha Welcome Academy (AWA) is a three-day experience to help military and family members adjust to Hawaii, learn about the culture, and ensure a solid foundation for a successful tour.
